JP2 better be ready this week for ezell. # 9 on ezell...last name schlappi is an amazing player. get ready cause this team is going to surprise many people.

The thing about Ezell being the best 300-399 school was a national standing on stats. Ezell had the second to most points, tds, yards, etc. This has nothing to do with teams like BA...They are DII..while Ezell is a 1a team that can't do some of the things that BA can do...yet. Ezell will have to work extremely hard this summer to be where they want to be...and that is in the Buro. They have good players, but all have to get stronger and faster. Who knows what will happen next fall...the thing is, its next fall...everyone has a summer to get better to play their best next season. Ezell will be in the playoffs...my call right now.

Maybe ezell has a lot of new faces...but they have the same coach and a lot of old faces too. Just because all of the starters graduated from ezell doesn't mean they aren't good. Ezell has had great backup they just need to step up and do what they can do.

Coach Smith is not leaving ezell. he is also the best high school coach in the state of Tennessee. But for the last time...he is not leaving.

hey gotgame...ezell does take their players out after the beginning of the 3 quarter. In that game..83-0, Ezell starters played about the first 3 series and were taken out. Their JV was the ones scoring in the second half. Coach Smith was running plays that would not work..but were working. He was getting a little frustrated when players were scoring.

Ezell has gotten a new coach. If that coach would have stayed, 3 starting defenders would have played most likely. They competed last year with the teams in their district. They lost to all of them but they played well with them. Their new coach has moved a lot of the old players around and have them in differnt positions. Their strikers and midfield are good but their defense is not.

I would say Jeremy Gettis from Ezell-Harding. He's got speed, strength, and the kinda attitude that shows noone can stop him. He will be noticed even more this next season.

Yes..and mason can go back to Div II and give some more "financial aid." Don't all of us 1A schools could give "financial aid"

I am going to back ezell up. I think coach burnett would let some of the other past players that have quit play also. he has had 10 to 13 players quit on him and he would most likely let any of those players back on the team. he also needed these players because when you only have 2 subs some games, the games tend to get longer and the players seem to not have fun. I played for coach burnett and quit because I wanted to take my winters off and work on football, i believe he would let me back on the team at one piont or another if he needed more players. The 3 guys missed basketball, they had their break, they are ready to play ball now.

Ezell b-ball team has only had 11 or more players quit in the past 2 years. You have all the talent in the state...and lose two championships..how is that?

Well for one thing not all of us at ezell are stuck in the past. When ya'll get beat by cpa don't make excuses about how you should allow two bad games a year.

Ezell will be back. Gettis..I am with you all the way. We going to show people what we are about next year. We just have to remember that foot ball is one at many places..the heart, the field, during those cold winter months when we aren't playing, and my favirate place besides the football field..the weightroom.

What game are you talking about when someone put the late hit on boyds punt returner and tried to hurt Healy?? I will go with CPA winning this with no argument. They have the best line in 1A easily..they probaly have the best in a few more of the classes. They are physical, smart, and pretty big.

I am predicting a loss for Ezell by 10.

Why does it matter....ezell took their starters out before the 2 quarter was even over. It was 50 something to 0 at the end of the 1 half....2 and 3 string played the rest. I don't have to stick up for our school anyway..no one likes ezell, we know this, and don't care.

Ok...this is what happened with KT and the boyd player. This is what it looked like and what KT said. They were both going at it..hitting each other(as in blocking) and KT's right hand slipped(was open hand) and hit the qb for boyd in the face or chin area. Afterwords..he tried to help him up and see if he was ok. Don' ever say that all ezell fans and players have big heads..because I know plenty that don't. Ezell can be beat..but only if it is by themselves. They have to take it one game at a game...not underestimating anyone.

Sorry to say..that is not ezell's scedule next year!ext year they play everyone in their region..plus goodpasture week one and david libscomb week 8 or 9 i think. The coach asked the juniors if we wanted some of father ryan and goodpasture.. but we only got one of them. Even though that is a year ahead...we will be ready to play. Ezell doesn't loze all their talent this year.
