Got a few openings for some umpires for this weekend. Looking for knowledgeable guys who are all about the player experience. Younger age groups so flexible strike zones. 

Middle Tennessee area, 5 games max per day. If interested, send email with name, contact information and very brief experience summary to [email protected] . Don't have to have a specific certification, it will be handled. On site Chief Umpire and Director to assist.

      Yep...this went from "Lincoln County will be the only public HS in the county", to "Not 100% sure..." to "I know that the HS baseball coach will become the Fayetteville City MS Baseball Coach" in two shakes of a rat's tail.   Rushing to be 1'st has resulted in many a misstep...may be right, but I aint bettin' on it.

      Remember, athletics is the only thing TSSAA is concerned with so they have no vested interest in Algebra teachers or AP classes. They are scared stiff that ALL control is slipping away, and that transfer for athletic reasons is the only bit of control that govt. will possibly relinquish back to them. If a kid applies to transfer from a public to a private using the voucher money and has to sit, this whole charade will be revealed. Gov. Lee has pushed for the voucher bill for years and has been met with lots of resistance...now that it's established, he won't allow TSSAA to use their transfer rule to provide an obstacle...bet on that.

      Sycamore HS, Hixon HS, and Green Hill HS are all looking to fill HC jobs. Boyd Buchanan, Sevier Co, and Stone Memorial are looking to fill Assistant coach positions. I wonder what happened at Green Hill. I can’t imagine a coach voluntarily leaving when there’s a potential multi time state champion there.
