I was just wondering who you all think will be the best 215's in the state this year? I'm not sure about Division I 215's, that's why I'm asking. In Division II, Springer from Knoxville Catholic should be competitive, yet I do not see any other competition for Grazino, the kid who transferred from St. Xavier Prep in Miami to Chatanooga Notre Dame. He is the two time defending Florida state champion at 215, with a record of 51-0. Just wondering if there will be any Division I 215's that could give him a decent match.

Since your email address ends in "montgomerybell.com", I will assume that you are an ill-informed MBA wrestler who knows as little about wrestling in general as you do about wrestling in Chattanooga in particular. There is no one named Grazino at ND and they certainly do not have anyone with such credentials. Perhaps you should stick to topics you know about (; i.e., getting pinned, designer clothes, not getting a date, etc.) because you obviously don't know anything about Chattanooga wrestling.

215 is a tough weight class, you have so many guys wrestling at the 215 spot who only weigh in at around 190 and they are giving up a lot of weight, It is hard to say and the same goes for the HW class. You have some guy who weight 50 more pounds fall on you and it could be over.

I do believe that what bluewhirleygig said quite possibly the funniest thing I've heard in a long long time. I give you props, I tried to give you a good mark, but it wouldn't let me. I haven't heard of any amazing two time state champ from Florida comming to ND, but if he did, he'd win it. I don't see any 215 above and beyond anyone else. Thornhill (mba) placed second last year, but he isn't a dominate wrestler. It'll be interesting to see. Look out for any McCallie football players that come out of nowhere and haven't wrestled since their eighth grade year to win state in a weak weight class.

I haven't seen any really good 215 pounders after 97. The 95, 96, and 97 seasons were the best years for 215. Nick Bredon, Will Barthalemew, Carlos Thompson, Will West, Mark Mondelli, Andy Rockwell. I just don't think the wrestling up there is as good as it was back then, but who knows. Maybe the guys this year are as good as they were back then, I haven't been following to closely this year.

By far, the best 215 lbs. wrestler in the state is senior Brandon (Pat) Bubis of Battle Ground Academy. Brandon has wrestled for 8 years now and is still one of the best. He came in 5th last year and is ready to revenge his bad tournament showing. Weighing 205 at the moment, Bubis is ready to take home the MVP for Football and Wrestling in the same year. Look out for this kid

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
