Both teams come in with a record of 3-2. Both coming off a loss Friday night.  I don't know alot about Central except they did beat Campbell County earlier this year.

It is very important for Clinton to cut down on penalties. I thought discipline was going to be one of Clinton's strengths coming into the season, but that hasn't been the case to this point.

Does Clinton get back on the winning track this Friday or do they lose to the Purple Pounders 2 years in a row? Thoughts?

I've done a little research on Chat Central and they seem to be struggling on offense a little more than last year to this point.

They've had a hard time rushing with consistency, and seem to be a better passing team.

Clinton should have success slowing down their running game, but may struggle against the pass. #6 should be back this week and hopefully #7 for Clinton. If so, that should help our pass defense.

I'm gonna say Clinton should win this game. I'm thinking somewhere around 35 - 14

    • Tough situation.  Not sure the ROI is there right now.   Might be better options that are cheaper.
    • Yeah summer ball is really fun, but a lot of coaches are trying to play several kids to get much needed reps that they are not accustomed to. I would imagine Gibson County will have lots of players playing to get much needed reps. Want to win games but got to get experience as well and the rotation will be much deeper. I will be at MTSU, UTM Bethel and others. MTSU is the one I really look forward to.
    • So who are the new additions to the staff? Serious answers only please.
    • Its always interested to see the state teams the following summer after losing or not losing seniors and getting freshman and transfers. It's almost time.
    • Maryville has Alcoa on the schedule at the right time of the season which helped last year instead of at the first of the year not knowing much. West will be hard pressed to repeat this year but next will be a different story.
