ctsports
It is hard to compaire receivers in high school because some team throw every down and the wr's are garenteed to have better numbers. number are not everything so this is a hard one to pick. I would have to go with Brad Lawson (Morristown West), Brad Merritt (Maryville), and Joe Watson (Greeneville).
zerocool
good post cody. one of the best trios b/c u threw the ball 400 times this year i bet. its hard to base a player or players just by there numbers until u see the team numbers..morristown west had 2 running backs rush over a thousand and almost had 3 and a reciever with 937 yards...u have to understand that we only threw the ball about 140 times this year.. RebelRaider
no question in my mind at all, brad merritt makes some of the most amazing catches you will ever see in high school football. he is one of the best recievers ive ever seen come out of maryville. Jacob Holt isnt terrible either, he has tremendous height and can really get up for the ball, but he is lacking in the speed department. ITS JUST THE FACTS!!!! RebelRaider
oh yeah, and one more thing, matt kyle is also one of the greatest recievers ever. he makes more 1 handed catches than jerry rice. i think he will definately start next year in place of brad merritt. right after high school, hes goin straight to the nfl. they have already talked to him. ITS JUST THE FACTS!!!!
Somedude
matt kyle could jump over a building, he is possibly one of the best wide receivers in the NATION. He is only a sophomore, but you soon will know the whole story. Its more than just the facts!
bomber7
brad lawson might have had 947 yards, and west might only threw 140 but how many completions and how many were to brad lawson. Oh yeah we didin't quite throw the ball 400 times it was 324 but what about the recieving crew they all had over 950 yards. Joe was the only reciever to have more catches than lawson.
