Hopefully dyer co makes it back. Young core group and freshman setter so we will see.

Tomorrow is opening day for many teams in AA. Here's some of the highlight matches:

Anderson Co. vs Oak Ridge

Greeneville vs. Tennessee

Lexington vs. Halls

Dyer Co. vs Univ. School of Jackson

Lawrence Co. vs Loretto

Yes sir, daughter goes tomorrow to get cast off and to see how much she will miss. They play alot volleyball in the month of August so hopefully she won't be down to long

AC dismantled OR in 45 minutes and played their JV some to rest their starters.  OR is really good, and will win the AAA District, but AC is so big.

East Hamilton finished 4-1 making it to the GOLD bracket at the Sunsphere tournament in Knoxville this weekend. Anderson county went 1-3 finishing in the Copper bracket.

Creek Wood is now 15-0 as the defending AA state champs. They have only lost one set all year so far. Until they lose, they are still the team to beat IMO. They are super solid, do not make many mistakes at all. Nothing flashy, just fundamental ball. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out!

Creek Wood drops their first match of the season to Harpeth tonight. This is only the 3rd match they have lost since the beginning of last season. They have only lost 4 sets in 17 games this season, all 4 to Harpeth. I am sure they will rebound, they are an extremely talented fundamental team. From the teams I have seen in AA, I still think it is theirs to lose in AA this year. Dyer, Crockett and Anderson Counties should compete as well from what I have seen/heard.
