Well, there are definitely questions of where DCA goes after last night. Bet NCS can give them some pointers on how to get players from Donelson.

Just hope Coach Brothers doesnt coach his way out of another gold ball.   Surely with a top 5 player in the country he can close this deal.

There is no place like Hermitage.   The car wash, the Thorntons, but a solid steakhouse.  Think the homeless camps are getting cleaned up there by O’Charleys.

Holidays bring meetups at Nadeens, Flat Tire, or Eggs Up Griddle.   If u dont know these 3, you dont know Hermitage.

if brothers losses another chance at a gold ball a letter will be on his desk december 9th…. he should have won 4 straight with that guy at qb…. jp2 part 2…. got to look yourself in the mirror at some point….

Big game Jay had a good year but is losing a ton of starters and doesn’t have enough OL studs to handle other teams next year. This season went well considering two dominant wins over the remedial school in Lebanon. The only thing that baffled me is the lack of targets for #2? I get he was double teamed and that opened up others but when you’re getting stifled on offense you have to just go to him regardless and let him make a play. I mean, he’s the best player and biggest physical mismatch in the history of the school and went some games with a handful of targets. With that being said the admin, players, parents, and vast majority of alums like and are proud of Jay. I’ve enjoyed watching him grow from a HS kid, to Stan’s son, to now CJP coach of the Wildcats!!!!

Tennessean article today talks about 4 impact transfers.   Amazing all of those guys found their way to West Nashville their junior season.  Looks like NCS had some open educational opportunities in the junior class.

Hope they are attending Western Hills C of C!

    • Thankfully,  No Madden in his resume!   Fortunately this new hire, Greg Vandagriff, is pure “gridiron” football!   Work, sweat, get better everyday, outsmart Goliath when you must, but work, work, work.  Wompuscat, we don’t know each other, yet  but I have a strong feeling you are going to really, really like this new coach.  He’s a guy’s  guy and will navigate the Lakeway organizational chart like a good running back would.  He’ll look for the holes,  but I have a feeling he will not hesitate to plow over the toughest defense to reach the goal line.    Lakeway’s program is still in its infancy.  The dismal win loss history is normal in the early years.  Fortunately the stars are now aligning in Lakeway’s favor.    Coach Vandagriff has written a book titled, “The Power of the Patch”.  It’s his life story of rising  above a troublesome childhood and  becoming the father and man he always wanted in his life, but never had.   He gives all credit to his faith in God (instilled by his grandmother).  He credits his high school football coach with molding his character and work ethic.  The book is now available on Amazon.      I’ve read the book.  It’s a tearjerker, if you are a sentimental grandma.  Lakeway has been blessed to begin a new football chapter with a head football coach whose goals are aligned with the school’s.
    • Kirby was the only one offered, nobody else had a chance to turn it down.
    • Didn’t say we would win, we aren’t scared of competition like a lot of teams out west…. We called a lot of the big bad teams in west tn and none of them wanted to play. We filled our week 2 game with JP2 anyways.
    • No one knows what the schedule will be.  To assume 45 would be foolish.  My wife and I have a few friends who work at the high school and up until Friday they said he was going to meetings throughout the week.  He immediately went back to Covington.  His wife never moved.  This isn’t complicated
