I think 2 Middle Regions make more sense and Leave West & East with their respective schools in the areas.

Top 3 in each Region make playoffs, or Top 4 in West and Top 2 in East due to region size.

12 Team playoff: Region Winners get a 1st round bye

West: FA, FACS, HA, JCS, TCA, TRA, USJ

Middle 1: CA, DCA, EHCS, MJCA, NCS

Middle 2: FC, FCS, MTCS, PCA, Webb BB,

East: CC, GB, PA, TKA

I see where you are going. I simply don't see 4 divisions in our future. It is much more likely that regions will be set equally per an inside contact I have. In your example you would have M1 teams crossing M2 teams to play another M1. I firmly believe they will stick to  evenly divided geographybased regions. JMO

You're probably correct. They've never cared about travel before. FCS and MJCA having to travel to East TN is a little absurd IMHO. West has enough that they don't have to travel beyond Western TN areas.

Yea some of those new schools in the East are definitely going to increase travel costs for folks that way

Where does DCA go tomorrow night? @Booger still needs to know. Hopefully Power-I with the Triple Duece 2-22 in the backfield. Make playoffs great again.

Huge game next week.   Hopefully the Great One of Laguardo will not get the revenge this season.

Maybe the Bronco package will be installed this week. To win in the playoffs, you have to dominate the line of scrimmage and run the ball and manage clock.

With fake news on #TheHill and BDP ready for hoops SZN, should be a good crowd.

Here on the Natchez, will be a Decatur County and Carroll County matchup.  Someone will meet their Waterloo.

What a week of winning!

Booger is correct, this board is gonna pick up for sure.

We are gonna see how well  some of these posts aged from back when folks were ready to burn theunderstudy at the stake for being openly critical all offseason of the CJP hiring.... :thumb:

Carpetbomb was ready to anoint CJP Heir to the Empire that Goodwin built after those boys beat FC week 2 by a score of 15-0.  And I pointed out then as I will now... gold balls aren't handed out on August 30th.

The question I have for the board is what will be viewed as a success in year one for CJP?

My heart is telling me DCA will win, they already did it once. My head is telling me it's hard to beat a FC team two times at their place. 21-14 FC wins.

Will be another great matchup.  For those that are traveling up, my 2 favorite stores up that way are Lakeside Market and King's Country Store.   Refreshments always cold!

    • I’ve watched a lot of west tn girls ball.. and I’ll say this.. Westview dominated tonight. But, the overall season for Gibson has been good. They lost a miss basketball, mvp, highest point scorer in the history of the program in Micah hart, and a really good defender in Miyah Turner.. those aren’t excuses. But maybe Gibson County hasn’t found their new identity without them. I’ll say overall history would say to not let one game base your decision. That program has a rich tradition. Maybe they regroup and find some solutions for the defense and lack of offense at times… still think you can count them in as the other team to get to state from this region and sub state, unless there’s a team I don’t know about.
    • Westview is best team in 2A ball.
    • I believe Sims, Gray, and Brent were the three in double digits and then several others had 3-6 each. Gibson County couldn’t stop Westview from hitting the three and when they tried, they drove right by them. I can’t tell you how many wide open layups Westview got. Gibson County got frustrated with Westview’s defense and had several turnovers. This is my first time seeing them this season and I’m interested in hearing if it was just a fluke because I wasn’t impressed at all. They don’t have a bench it doesn’t seem and outside of Rivers and Riding don’t have any athletes
    • 2 big wins later, Auden Slaughter is now up to 3156 career points.  He should still be on pace for 2nd place all time in TN.
    • Sorry, yeah I meant tonight’s game. I can’t remember Gibson County ever getting beat that big of margin. Who were high scorers for Westview?
