I read somewhere on one of these Post, where somebody said that Antwon Harris & Mike Sampson was the best players in Clarksville. Well, Scoring points and rebounding, by far does not make you the best player.

 

Preparing your team, for battle, making players around you good, are maybe even great. Winning games you have no business winning. Coming to play every-night.

 

I will agree that Antwon right now at this moment. Is the best all around player in the Ville. Its a shame but your judged on your ability, to win games. I will say this Harris & Sampson are the two better players in the Ville, but the best?

 

Bring that weak guard force up to snuff, Win Big games, beat weak teams with two good players. Turn your season around, then I will agree to this.

 

Look at Northeast basically a 2 player team with Reed & Carter, they find ways to win games.I think they brung their roll players up to snuff Hunt & Tuck. which Gomab thinks highly of.

 

And ending I'll say make other players around you good, Then talk about being the best. The people on this thread will tell you, you won't have to say a word------> SSSHHHHHH

I'm not saying they played a weak TEAM with two good players, I'm saying in all these conditions step up to the bat.

 

And let the people brag about you! Antwon Harris is a great player and he is the best in the Ville, but Harris & Sampson not the Best together.

 

I hate to say it but its all about winning Games. And Northeast is doing just that. Could say Carter & Reed are the best players in the Ville, Right now together they are.

 

Finding ways to win! and thats what it is all about. Showing the talent to win games. bring weakers player up to par!!!!!!!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
