They defeated West Greene rather soundly in their opening round. I'm not sure what the score ended up being, but they were never challenged. They play West Lauderdale of Mississippi, who defeated Greeneville 49-48. The are very physical and like to run. Should be very intersting, because they enter the game at 16-0.

Anybody have any info on the loss to Prairie, Washington at the Ladies Classic in Greeneville? Was it closer than the 12 point final score? Halftime score? Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Much closer than the final score indicates. Throughout the game it was close. White Co. gave Prarie and their 3 signees all they wanted b/c they played hard and displayed a lot of heart. In the final minutes the Warriorettes were forced to foul and Prarie connected on charity shots to provide the final margin of victory.

What helped the most to keep Sparta in the game with such a strong team? Was it coaching strategy, pure talent, or a combination of both? I'm just curious.

White Co. strong team to. Saw the Washington team play.

We are as good as they are.

I'm not saying that Sparta doesn't have a strong team. Their record proves that they do. I'm just guessing that the Washington team is strong because someone said it has 3 college signees. It's rare to find that much talent concentrated on one team.
