Keep all the bullitin board material coming. All Temple needs to hear is that they don't have a chance. We heard it all 3 games last year at the state and we are hearing it again. Boyd has a good team, but they haven't played Temple yet. Keep bashing Temple!!!! Their kids will be ready to play. Remember also that Boyd played McCallie at home and Temple played McCallie at McCallie. Home court means alot. Food for thought: Temple recommited themselves and have won 6 straight. Cant't wait for the game. :)

Temple was ahead by 15 with 2 minutes to play and subbed allowing Horton to score 8 points. Temple knew the game was over. Temple even played Ryan Wadley with a broken thumb and Jake Skogen with a bad ankle sprain. They both played well but they wern't at their best. Scores are decieving.

I am a BBS fan and I am pleased and impressed with the way the Bucs are playing. BUT... Temple is the king now and make no mistake about it. Until someone knocks them off their perch in March, they wear the crown. January games are only an indication of what teams need to work on. The games with Temple and CCS will be intense and interesting, but they will prove nothing. Basketball is a tournament game and teams need to focus on peaking during tourney time. It should be fun!

Good post supersteve. All that counts is tournament play.

However, you use games as a measuring stick to see where you are and what you need to work on. It is also easy to compare scores for common opponents. These only mean so much b/c of reasons mentioned in a previous post. But, the Bucs cant help but be encouraged by the McCallie games. They definitely know Temple won't be a cake walk. On the other hand, they know if they play with same intensity as they did in the second half of the McCallie game, they can beat anybody.

They know they are not where they need to be and they continue to work toward that for tournament time. :)

I saw both Temple and Boyd play McCallie and I don't know if Boyd can hang with Temple. McCallie did not play near as well against Boyd as they did against Temple. They were a little rusty from the holidays. If Temple has all their players healthy, Boyd will have a really tough time beating them. Boyd's strength in schedule it terrible. They haven't played any body really decent yet besides McCallie. Though McCallie only won, they had a really bad game. Their game against Temple was one of their best this season. Boyd isn't as good as their 11-2 record shows.
