I believe this will proboly be MC toughest game in their district this season. Just take a look at the stats and you can see for yourself. The Lady Hornets have really come alive with theirs wanting to be on top. They have some really good and outstanding players that have had some outside playing time on a AAU Team that always make the finals. But I must add to the confusion that MC also has some of the AAU players on their team,too. It will be a game to see.

 

I just would like to say to both teams "GOOD LUCK", because you are going to need it. Both teams are really good.

Maybe this is the year... The potential is there but it's been there before. I hope the Lady Hornets play like I know they can and MCBOB is on here giving us credit and not saying easy like he has everyone else. I am excited but we'll see, the best team has not always won this game but the smarter one has.

This was a hard fought game that could have went either way but MC was able to pull it out. Huntland showed a lot of heart and played hard with Bauer going out early in the 1st quarter. I think if she had of played it might have been a different outcome but I guess we'll never know. Very low scoring with a lot of defense. Pretty good game all around.

Good luck tomorrow night Lady Hornets. Play with the same heart and hopefully we'll come out on the winning side.

 

One last thing--- EASY- I DOUBT IT...

      I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.

      Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne,sond best team in the west my have beat you also,but you sure deserved the chance to play um.

      Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.

      Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!

      Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
