SCSarge71
Did anyone else notice that the only public school to place in the top ten at the father ryan was farragut? will they be a top contender for state duals?
sly
Did you also notice that Bradley, Cleveland, Soddy Daisy, Clarksville, East Ridge, Red Bank and other top DI teams weren't there? Farragut may make it to the state duals but I don't think they can challenge for the championship.
SCSarge71
I see your point but some of those teams are highly overrated. Cleveland and Bradley are good, but not perfect, i saw their duals against farragut and greenville, and if that was their full potential then they are in trouble. but if not... who IS the main competitor? sly
OooKaaaay nice chatting with you..............just kidding! To answer your question in my opinion Soddy Daisy, Cleveland, Bradley and Clarksville appear to be the teams to beat. Good luck to Farragut. dragonwrestler
i guess Collierville is a Div. 2 school in that case
SCSarge71
what do you mean?
thegatling
Dragonwrestler, don't pay any attention to these east tennessee nazis, train hard and keep up the good work. Yall aren't given the respect you deserve, nobody from our side of the stateis. Sly and these East TN clowns prove their ignorance by saying that the only DI teams are from Chattahoochie. Collierville will definately give everyone a run for their money. They took Clarksville close last year and dont be suprised if they upset some people. johnco
Sly...Red Bank was a Ryan...and what other top DI teams that you didn't name weren't there?...just wondering?
Guest TikeG
Red Bank was at Ryan Invi. I think we placed 10th. The Goodens and Furmon were in the finals.
d2wrestler
Farragut is good, but I don't think that they can realistically win state duals at all. Does anyone know if they have wrestled Maryville? I hate to give them bigger heads than they already have but I think that Farragut and them would be a good match. sly
johnco, I forgot about Red Bank being there. According to TennBest the week before the Ryan touney there were 10 other DI schools ranked ahead of Farragut and they were Bradley,Soddy Daisy,Cleveland,Clarksville,Science Hill,East Ridge,Maryville,Collierville,Kingsport DB, and Hixson. I'm sure Farragut is a great team but the post I replied to was making a big deal about how Farragut was the top DI team and that they finished behind the DII schools and I just was pointing out that there were other DI teams that were ranked higher than Farragut that weren't even at the Ryan tourney. Guest TNwrestle86
faragut may be good, but they only beat an unhealthy collierville team by 1 and a half points at that tourney. i think the collierville would beat them (not to mention several other teams in D1). also i know that houston, franklin, and brentwood are D1. brush up on your facts.
