Brentwood Academy led throughout in this battle of Eagles, easily flying away with the victory tonight in Brentwood. Though Antoine Owens, A.J. Blackburn, and Austin Henderson ("the killer A's") played nearly every minute (despite not starting), their contributions -- nearly all the team's points -- were not enough to carry their team to victory. BA was led inside by Brandon Wright and on the perimeter by Joshua Bone and Mason Revelette, who are really starting to come into their own. Meanwhile, Ezell was led by Antoine Owens and A.J. Blackburn, but did not have the chemistry or athleticism to compete tonight. Here is the recap:

Was this the first full game Antoine, AJ and Austin played in since coming back? I'm not an Ezell guy, but when these guys get their legs back, Ezell will be a team with which to be reckoned. Also, hats off to Jacob Burney.

Yeah, this was their first full game. They played from 3 minutes in until the final buzzer, and should be tough once they get going.

No, they played Monday night against DCA. Ezell lost 46-45.
