As I see it this weight class is up for grabs. There are at seven really good 189s out there. West Side, Bradley, Cleveland, Soddy, Maryville,Fairview and Kenwood. Anyone of these wrestlers can win it all.

Maybe if the Muffin Man spent less time in the kitchen cooking up his cut downs on the rest of the 189 lbers in the state, there would be less gassing and cracking in the 3rd. Just a thought.

I agree that the Kenwood wrestler, Josh St. Cyr, is a great wrestler at this weight. You will see him at State this year. I think people should give him some consideration as a contender!

The besy 189 ive seen this year was the kid from Memphis Westside.He wore out the kid from MBA and is my pick for Div II He is the best big wrestler on his feet Ive seen.

He threw the kid from MBA around like crazy.

Div I my money is on the kid from Soddy
