  1. Hey Takedownkid. Too bad you weren't in the finals buddy. We could have seen all that stalling you WOULDN'T have done against "those bradley kids." by the way... our wrestling room is open all spring and all summer. I know for a fact they wouldn't mind if ANYONE showed up...by the way...Matwizard, your buddies told you wrong. the 130 match was great. Holliman looked great along with West. Couldn't have asked for a better match. Also, why would the match get "Best Match" if their was stalling. Whoa! they miss on that one.
  2. Sorry, i would also have to disagree with the booing of the 112 weight class. No one booed that was wearing black and gold... Sorry. Seems like everytime i get on this site there is something a bradley fan, wrestler, girlfriend.... someone did. WOW! Anyway... Congrats to Mike Ortiz. he deserves it.
  3. Just a thought, and to get it out side by side. Did Collins Hill not beat McCallie? And Bradley not beat Collins Hill? Just a thought... I mean i still see why you would want the D I and D II schools to wrestle, but since they aren't, is that proof enought, just a thought...... Toughest 6
  4. Any surprises team wise? Who raising eyebrows?
  5. Haha... Jake is a 30 lber. No doubt about that. Where did running come into play...hummm 135 and 140. If Jake feels like at 30 he is going to help his team let the kid go down.... if i'm not mistaken i don't think Lane made 35 this yr. and I think, just by seeing Lane this yr. he is a big 40. I think they are both great wrestlers, let 'em wrestle.... Thank God for 6.....
  6. This is unreal...There are great coaches everywhere & I'm sure whoever started this post had no clue that it was going to turn into a thread to BASH coaches instead of build them up! Seriously, stuff like this tears the sport apart, where I come from we are taught to befriend the people that do the sport we do. Not too many people can wake up in the morning, cut weight all day, just to make weight for a tourney a week away. NO SPORT COMPARES TO THIS SPORT...But on another note, no matter what coach it is, I will respect them more if they can get on the mat and do what their wrestlers are doing everyday in practice. That's when you know you have a good coach, is when they can get out there and run with them and wrestle with them, not just bark commands in their headgear for 2 hours...Just a thought, take it for what it's worth...Keep Wrestling! Toughest 6 minutes on EARTH !
  7. 21 Years....76 Medalists....38 State Finalists....24 State Champions....9 State Championships....1 Team....1 Coach.....Thanks Coach Logsdon for EVERYTHING!!!
  8. Was that McMinn's 145? or who's. How good is he ?
  9. Was that McMinn's 145? or who's. How good is he ?

You're right Coleman is a great wrestle, strong and fundamentally sound. He's cut a lot of weight in the past. Two good kids at Bradley at both weights. You're right too, Coleman, Cordell good match.
  13. Here's a thought... What about a "4th period." Wrestle a full minute, no matter who scores 1st, just who's winning after the minute is up. The Refs. would have to be more strict on stale-mates and stalling to prevent a double OT...Just a thought...any comments ?
  14. What did he do last year?

Walk away with it at 112 ? No one there ?
  16. James was at 30 at the Southern Open. Depending on how much weight he can cut, I would look for him at 25. I doubt he would drop to 19 to get Cordell.
  17. no matter how good shape someone is in this state at 160 i doubt they will do much against quinn gibson. just a thought?
  18. Coach T, I dont think that the percentage of picks should be showed on the CoachT.com homepage. I think that the only time that they should be showed is after the pick has been made. When someone can look at who other people are picking before they pick, they can use that to their advantage when they know nothing of the two teams they are picking. I think that this may cause many people making the same picks on the same games and i think that that could cause a traffic jam at the top of the Big Ones rankings.
  19. By what you're saying, this would have been a slam. The 1st thing to hit the mat was Creagan's face. But i dont think this is the rule the rule has something to do with coming down with force and not having the man under control. but anyways, for Creagan's sake, he's sitting at home with a nice tssaa medal that no one at 140 has. Houston, unfortunatly for him, bc i like him and his family , but he's sitting at home with nothing, but the fact that he lost, and showed everyonein the stands exactly what NOT to do when you lose. Just something to think about...
  20. Hey 1moretime. Let's make it the last time huh buddy. I don't know who you're representing when you say that "all the bradley fans know it should have gone into overtime." that's crazy. no one from bradley is going to wish the match to be tied. Our wrestler was winning. Houston was coming back. That's good. Time ran out. The match would have been tied If and i say If scooter wouldn't have slammed him. But i am sorry this would have been called by 9 out of 10 officials. Creagan didn't have a post. And no Creagan wasn't over Houston's head. Which is ok, because he doesn't have to be to be a slam. it has to be a lift in which the other man is taken back to the mat out of control and with force. this was extremely evident in the match.
