McDonald's All-American Game

Just on the official McDonald's High School All-American Game web-site and noticed that congratulations go out to Brittany Frazier of Oak Ridge and Rebecca Rowsey of Chester County for being nominated to the game. It says that the nominations will be reduced to top 100 on Feb.17th, with the final team being announced on ESPN Feb.27th. Good luck girls. I was also suprised that there were no more girls from TN nominated! We have PLENTY of great talent across the state!!!!

That does suprise me that no one else from the state was nominated

but actually make the game. Any player that averages 40 pts per game on a 17-3 team in the State of Tennessee ( one of the top 3 womens high school states , if not the best) without question should be at least nominated.

 

You have to ask how much of this nomination is political and pre determined through AAU coaches, scouts, and organizers of camps.

 

Regardless, the two from TN that were nominated are exceptional players and very deserving.

If Sade Buley doesn't make that team when she is a senior, I will kill someone. There certainly aren't 24 better players than her in high school.
