I tried to post results earlier, but got a message "WEB SITE NOT RESPONDING"

WesVols - nice job on the stats and prediction. BGA played very good defense last night. They were patient on offense and took what MBA gave them - Barnes and Ross got open shots under the basket.

This is a good win for BGA - they really needed it.

As I remember, the top 3 teams from the middle region tournament advance. I don't think seeding will be as critical as in past years - in my opinion all the teams are capable of winning a game on any given night.

This is going to be a really exciting tournament. I like BA's chances because of their size. I like Ryan's chances because of their experience. I hope BGA can get a couple W's and advance.

The region is at BA this year, they rotate every year. As for MBA, Brad French may be out the rest of the year because he torn his ACL supposedly, he has an X-ray on Thursday. If that happens, as BGA found out, MBA has only one true offensive weapon in Jeffrey. Some how we make it back to Memphis again, but we seem to play our best ball away from home, it's where 3 of our four wins have came for us. Hopefully we can play well toward the end of the year, and learn how to score some points.

Anybody know anything about Baylor's basketball team in Chattanooga??

All right! I'm glad it's at BA! I'll go to every game. And if the sectionals are at the beautiful, "cute" new Allen Arena at Lipscomb, I'll watch every one of them as well. I hope I'll be in town...

My condolences to Brad. He is an excellent athlete, and I'm sure he'll be sorely missed by MBA for the rest of the year.

    • I grew up watching Greene Devil Football since I could walk and still close with a lot of the coaches so should know my history pretty well lol.  Everything worked out the way it should have but firmly believe McCurry would have won some State Title if he wouldn't been let go (Greeneville still runs the same D he brought here and he let Ballard run the O and stayed out of it when it came to calling plays.  Greeneville was put out in the Semi's McCurry's last year against Maryville and the next year Greeneville stayed in 4a and was State Runner up playing were they were placed for the first time by the TSSAA.). It was definitely a McCurry and Ballard show that turned everything around along with the Community buying in and revamping the weight room and field house. Since Ballard got promoted to HC every Coach after him has been within the Greeneville Coaching staff because your right, they know what it takes to win a state championship.  Ballard was a master mine on O and what i think Greeneville has lacked since he left and let some Championships or making it to the Championship slip away over the last few years
    • Sounds like you know your area history well. Going back and looking the records were better than I thought but mostly still beating Upper East TN schools. Ballard sounds like he came/was promoted at the right time.    I do think it’s no coincidence that them keeping the HCs as guys who were former guys on the staff. Too many times schools want a “state championship” leveled coach from the outside but they don’t know the landscape. Promoting from within will help with less turnover and keep the program consistent.
    • You’re a fool if you think I have more than one account
    • Looking back they had better records than I recalled against upper East TN.  But they still took off once ballard got there. And beating other good programs
