Unicoi girls superior to Elizabethton girls?

This is just a forum for thoughts and ideas. Just because you don't like the way someone looks at something doesn't mean you have to be so high-minded about it.

What's wrong with looking deeper than win-loss records? Again, it's just conversation.

Unicoi might beat Elizabethton's girls by 50. Who knows? But is nobody supposed to talk about it other than to say Unicoi is 13-0 and Elizabethton is 10-3 and that's that?

On the 20th of this month when unicoi plays etown, etown will be in the game until the tip-off. redds lil sister cant play with herself. Go Lady Blue Devils.

It "appears" that Unicoi beat Elizabethton last night. Great game. Elizabethton came to town to win but the Unicoi County Lady Devils prevailed!!!!

Congratulations to the Lady Blue Devils on a well-played game and a hard-fought one-point win. They have a good coach and a good team.

This thread started with.."it appears Unicoi has widened the gap since its 41-36 win over Elizabethton in December." With an overtime win over Hampton and a 1 point win over Elizabethton.. on Unicoi's home court. It appears that the gap has been closed down to nothing. Good job Bulldogs and Cyclones. It may be a good thing that, unlike last year, the top seed gets a first round by.

I think the reason the gap closed last night was because of refs and one ref in particular who wanted to "pick" on Coach Fisher while the Elizabethton coach ran up and down the sidelines screaming the whole time without the refs ever even looking his way. Coach Fisher wasn't half as vocal or pitching "temper tantrums" like the Cyclones coach but Fisher was the one the ref decided to "try to make an issue with"!!!??? The fouls were nearly 2-1.

 

We're happy with the the "undefeated" Watauga title - whatever else happens is just "gravy" or should I say "groovy"!!!!!
