Tyler was screaming timeout then he picked up the ball and walked. the ref knows he messed up and so does everyone in that gym. but peabody didnt give up when they were down and they played well. who knows what would have happened if the refs knew what they were doing. i am a die hard unaka fan but the ride is over and i hope peabody does well.

Hey 3D, you need to get some facts straight before you run your head. Chambers maybe the 3rd or 4th on the all time scoring list but he shot the ball 50 times a game. He is athletic so a few of them went in. If you look at his shooting percent it was not very good. Now if you look at tylers scoring and his ppercent then you will see a good player. He doesnt miss much. He shoots when he is open and creates openings for others. His passing is amazing. Rusty shot so much he had to score alot. Now no of that matters because they won last year and they are playing great this year. Noone can take that away from them. I hope the go to the boro and have fun and win. Go Rangers

Unaka will take this one and make it ti the boro 3 out of the last 4 years. they are playing great and the whole team is doing it together. they will take the creek back to the boro. GO RANGERS

This weekend Temple and McCallie com eto the creek to play Unaka. It seems to be a good weekend of basketball. Unaka edged McCallie in the regular season last year and beat Temple in the state. Unaka is starting to come together as a team and play well. The seniors have had good games so far with McCann having to 18 point outing and Cline with an 22 game. I think Unaka will have to play team ball and play well all around to beat these two teams from what I have heard about them this year. Godd luck Rangers and take it to them...

I havent heard that but that would be a great surprise. in his senior year being a triathelete. he would give the rangers four starting senoirs with more chemistry then they have ever had. i am not sure about this but i hope it is true i would love to see daniel and tyler and derek play together one more time. 3d I see where you are coming from with the 3 gmaes camparing to 4 years, but i was there all four years as rusty has played and he played alot in those yrs but in the first two he didnt play well at all. he was young and i dont feel he should have been put out there that much in the situations he did. but the last two years he played well. same as tyler played well all last yr i dont know if you just never saw tyler play all last yr but he did great the whole yr not just in the state tourny. and as far as anyone saying it is a one man show, and only replacement coming back, has everyone forgot about derek cline. he was a key player all year last year.and rusty holsclaw. he also provide a huge role in the championship run. i think people underestimate the role these juniors played last year. i think the rangers are going to surprise people. so dont count them out and good luck rangers.

I was reading the post about tyler mccann for mvp and everyone was saying that tyler cant be mvp and he didnt deserve it and how he had open lay-ups. well to all you people that doubt think about this. ben rhonda for etsu plays the same kind of ball as tyler, back door cuts for open layups ten foot jumpers 8 to 10 rebounds a gmae and he plays D1 at ETSU. and saying that he is not a D1 prospect is stupid. I know for a fact that D1 wofford wants him D1 david lipscomb wants him and other D1 school are sending him letters everyday. and the last ten games of the season and into the tourniments tyler averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds as a role player. he stepped up in the state and did what he had to do. so dont take away from the hard work he put in to last season. just think about that.

I would watch Unaka play ball on wed. they have four or five guys that will shine on any given day. tyler mccann #25 is one of the starting gaurds. he will be a force on the baseline and the outside. derek cline #34 is the starting point guard and he shot 4 for 4 behind the arc in the sub-state. the other starting gaurd is cody collins #15 and he is just a straight up baller. he makes things happen all over the court and can score from anywhere. rusty chambers #24 will score anywhere from 15 to 25 points. he will take it to the hole everytime. he also hit the game winning three in the sub-state. and a threat off the bench it #55 rusty holsclaw. he is a big man and will be very productive in the paint. over all the rangers from Unaka will be a very tough team come wed at 2 pm. He might have been the best player on the floor in the regionals, but he sure wasnt during he regular season. So now that he actually deserves it im glad he got it. and everyone knows he doesnt deserve Rusty's MVP of the season award.

The guy that hit left handed and led off last year graduated his name is aaron dugger the other left handed hitter that plyaed in the infield is a junior this year and is expecting to have a great year. the rangers should be state contenders this year and next year. they only lost four starters and have some great ball players coming in to the program. plus they will be playing on a new home field this season and that will make a big deference seeing as how they will not have to travel to every game. Everyone talks bout the youth of the rangers but noone says much bout mccann. he comes off the bench and does a great job when called on. he hasnt seen alot of playin time lately and i am not sure why. But he did play alot against North Greene, and he stepped up and played great defense causing a few steals and i remember one steal while they were pressing when he stuffed a guy that is hlaf a fott taller than him. then had an assist off of that. he will be a great player for the rangers when given the chance.

On the 20th of this month when unicoi plays etown, etown will be in the game until the tip-off. redds lil sister cant play with herself. Go Lady Blue Devils.

i couldnt believe the refs either. unicoi had 10 fouls called on them before the end of the fisrt quarter. thats is terrible. the girls did great to stay focused and pull it out they deserve there conferenece title.

well i knew it all along. cloudland cant win on the creek. the fans are to strong the atomsphere is to much. they couldnt handle all the pressure. unaka played a great came and they deserve there 6th striaght conference championship. Congrats rangers

Unaka has two lefties this year. Randy and Daniel both sophomores. randy has more speed but daniel has a great curve and greatcontrol both of them had alot of playing time last year so i expect big things from these two young men

Elizabehton, cloudland, Canadagia,NY, Carson City,NV, whom they beat. and they were beat by tellico plains. and cloudland's girls are state contenders. noone in there conference has even touched them.

Why is noone talking bout these girls from unicoi. they have only lost three games all year and they are undefeated in there conference. They have some every talented ball players. They are getting great senior leadership from Amber Bailey and Candace Shelton. Plus they have some young players that are very exciting to watch. Ekizabeth Weaver, Hali Sparks, Kellye Lingerfelt, Amber Kerns, and Amber Stevens. All of which are sophomores. I am looking for big things from these girls this year as well as years to come.

OK Patty Taylor you need to calm way down. First you need to wait until your daughter is on the team(if she makes it) before you rasie came on the fans. Second, the boys team does not not get to come and go from the locker room as they please, Coach Ensor makes that decision. and that is the time they are preparing for the game. And i agree wilsonball the student section is made up of mostly old unaka boys basketball players. so think and know your facts before you say anything else.
