Riverdale: Pettus and the coach

You tell me how a second leading scorer go from starting to not playing at all. Coach Burt will never win a championship if he keep doing stupid stuff like that. That girls that left then cameback after Chrismas break comes and starts. That is total "BS". I just want that to be known.

You apparently do not know Coach Burt very well! He does a great job and runs an admirable program. (1st class). I have not known him very long but was honored to meet him this past year. I have attended several games of his and was amazed with his coaching ability. There is a reason for his actions, which you nor I may never know about but a positive will come from it. Not only is he a great coach on the floor but he is a great mentor off the floor. He prepares his girls to become successful women. Way to go Coach Burt, keep up the good work!

What do that have to do with this girl leaving the program then coming back to start. If she left his program the first time why she wouldn't leave it again. How can she come and take a girl starting position that started since she was a fresh man?

Riverdale have two coaches that have any sense at all Gary Rankins and Buddy Powers. The boys and girls coaches act like little kids at times. When Burt get in a tough situation he calls on Pettus. I know that he need to be a little nicer to Pettus, because Horton only have a few more games left. Keep your head up Pettus he will need you again.

I am so glade you see a little of what I see. He to me always call on her when he need a good scorer. I think she will play tonight cause he needs a good scorer. I tried to give you a good mark but coacht wouldn't let me.

I am sorry to Coach Burt for what I have been expressing on the internet, but he makes some wrong choices. Every coach should take negative and say to themselves "I am the coach and I am going to do it to the best of my ability." I felt he did a pretty good job Tuesday. I really enjoyed that game Tuesday. Those girls fought to the end and Coach Burt coached them to the end.
