Does the SOS also include the out of state teams that Bradley beat in the Christmas tournament. You look at the schedules and honestly tell me that Cleveland has played a tougher schedule. Cleveland hasn't played anybody, but East Tennessee teams. Bradley has played Oakland and Lebanon. The Middle Tennessee teams are the ones they will play in sub-state. Reaching the state tournament is a goal of every team and Bradley is a constant contender and not a pretender like some other WHINEY teams that complain instead of absorbing their loses.

It will take beating Cleveland in the region finals for Bradley to get any respect. It doesn't matter that they have convincingly beat all other district teams and beat Cleveland twice. Once on Clevelands homecourt. Or that Bradley has played a much tougher schedule than Cleveland. Note that Cleveland played Sweetwater, McMinn Central and Walker Valley all AA schools. But all in all do the polls really matter? No...... Hang in there Bradley and show those pollsters who is really the best team. And do you really think that a second win over Cleveland would have made a difference. Bradley beat them once at Cleveland and the voters didn't change their minds. Then they beat them a second time (oh but I forgot they cheated that time) and they still didn't change. That is a stupid remark to say that the voters think Cleveland got cheated. None of them were even at the game. What a stupid remark!

Huck,

I don't know for sure but I doubt out of state teams are part of the SOS formula. No doubt about it, Cleveland has played a much tougher in-state schedule. How many teams did Bradley play in Alabama (4?) with at least one team being a cupcake. I would doubt that those Alabama teams would do much to change the weaker in-state scheduling of Bradley.

Uh- Sweetwater, McMinn Central, Ooltewah, Walker Valley? Yes I would say that is very tough. And to think that Cleveland actually beat those tough teams? my oh my, they should be number one playing a schedule like that. I can see that those teams are much better than Lebanon or Oakland. Talk about schedules all you want but Bradley's record against Cleveland is 2-0. The SOS does NOT include out of state teams that they have played.

Cleveland played Walker Valley because they are in the same county. McMinn Central is consistently one of the better AA programs; The MC athletic director contacted Cleveland about playing. Sweetwater is traditional a tough AA team, besides it is Coach Green's hometown.

My question is who did Bradley play that is tough outside the region? Cleveland played Bearden, William Blount, and Oak Ridge.

For all you Cleveland crybabies watch sportsvision Thrusday night and you'll see the replay of the "foul". Make all the excuses you want but it doesn't change the fact that the Baby Blue Raiders are 0-2 against the Bears this year. The polls say one thing but the standings is what counts.

mobee1,

I have already seen video replay. In the final four mins, by my estimate, the refs failed to call 4 calls against the bears; called 2 touch-fouls against cleveland that were inconsistent with the way things had been called the previous three quarters; and incorrectly called 1 more foul against cleveland and this was all before the jumpball and the kellen's dripple off the knee/foul on cleveland to set up the free throws for the win.

Nick32,

You have listed 3 AA teams and a District 6 2nd place team. Can you provide a better list, like AAA teams or out of state teams that would be legitmate competition. Bradley played three Alabama teams, Oak Ridge, Oakland, not to mention the out of state teams they played in the Thanksgiving tournament. We'll see in the end who the better team is.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
