you can't replace a talent like sweat,especially his heart, & his bat.what you do is move on and some kid may have a better glove,or better pitcher, or whatever,someone will step up.i would never want to try and hold sweats year up to a young kid and say,"lets see you beat that".I would rather say,"let me tell you about steve sweat 2002 season" and let the kid measure himself aganist that season.I think lexington is going to be very tough to beat this year.

Not sure that you replace a Steve Sweat...But I'm sure Coach Patterson will do as good a job as is possible finding someone to play shortstop and pitch.
