you girls played hard and you played together and you played like a team is supossed to play. there is always next year when you will be ten times better. way to play with heart and not give up. you wrestled until the gorilla was tired. good job and good season. prepare for next year.

 

 

good luck to all the remaining teams as you play through the district, advance to region, go to substate, and hopefully compete for the gold ball. play hard, play smart, play together.

WOW! I can't believe how well the Lady Lions played. They completely had S'town's number. A team playing with 3 8th graders on the floor taking the #2 team(in the toughest district in the state)to 4 points with 2:50 left to play. Great job. I feel good things on the horizon for Clifton. #34 will be missed but a great class of freshmen coming. Congrats to Summertown on their win, good luck with your future games. The twin towers are hard to beat.

The Lady Lions have done a great job this year! They have really proved themselves. They only started out with about 6 or 7 girls playing. They moved the 8th graders up. There are very few teams that can say they can start their 8th graders and still do a great job. Mac will be very missed, and she is a great player. Good luck to her in the future, and after high school. The Lady Lions did really well, and played like a team last night. We look to see better things from them in the upcoming years. Great job!

Jeff Skelton is the best coach that Clifton has had. He has really brought our team together. We might have had our ups and downs with him but he is still the greatest. I mean, look how far we have come with him here. Thanks for coaching us Coach Skelton..
