Henry County & Kenwood Score

Henry County pulled out a 61-52 win over Kenwood tonight. Henry County shot around 55% from the field. Teague was a stud with 25 points. Sturdivant had 11, but sat out most of the 1st half after he caught an elbow to the eye after the tip. Taylor and Hutcherson had 9 each. Samson had a good 2nd half finishing with 18, Harris finished with 11. Henry County will play Friday at 8:45 against the winner of the Northwest/Dickson County game.

That's too bad....... I wanted to see my boys from Kenwood put together a surprising post-season run...... Nonetheless, a great year by the duo of Sampson and Harris, who combined to average almost 36 ppg between them....

I was really worried about that game. Good to see them pull it out. I hope they can put together a solid tourney and win it.

If Zech Teague comes with that type effort for the next two nights I think they will win it. He was really tough to handle it was very obvious he wasnt ready to go home. He picked up three early fouls and Weeks went right back with him.
