Giles Co vs Jackson Southside??????????

Looking a bit ahead, but there could possibly be a good Substate matchup (if JSS loses to Bolivar) between Jackson Southside and Giles Co.....

 

Does Southside have a chance??? Or is Giles too loaded? Giles has had --0-- competition for a while, including Region, and Southside has been battle tested, so.........

 

What does everyone think of this potential matchup????

 

(I have had a chance to see both this year, and I think Giles wins, but closer than any game they've had in a while)

This should be Giles County's first challenge in the tournaments after cruising through district and region. Jackson SS has definitely been battle tested this year and should give Giles a good game.

 

But if Giles shows up to play (which they should this time of year) their depth and relentless defense should be too much for Jackson SS.

i say giles by 8-10 in a very fast-pace, high scoring game.

I would not count SS out yet. Might also want to think about Bolivar vs Giles.

True!!!Southside and Bolivar play for the eighth time in the past two years so they know each other quite well. In the past 4 years this marks the 15th game of the series. If Bolivar plays Giles, I hope Bolivar can stay close to them. The way the Giles Co. fans talk they are unbeatable. Bolivar has to bring their A game and hope they have the services of Walker to keep from making the long trip. Giles may have a tougher time with Southside due to their quikness.
