Possible 4 Peat

Does anyone know if any team has won 4 straight state championships? Jackson COunty is back, again, and has a shot at a 4 peat. When you think about the level of competition in girls high school basektball in TN this possible feat is almost unthinkable. Jackson County has been beaten by Livingston Academy this year, so beating JC isnt unthinkable, but JC still has to be the favorites until they are defeated. The Lady Blue Devils are 9-0 in last 9 state tourney games- WOW.

I'd almost bet that Shelbyville has done it, but I don't know for sure. Crazy thing is, JC could have already done and be playing for 5!

i agree with swamp. i believe shelbyville is the only team in state history to win four in a row.....totally awsum.hope to see j.county set the mark for class AA.

If I'm not badly mistaken I think Jackson Co. set the record last year for AA with 3 in a row...I could be wrong...I have been before, but that's what I heard...
