WHAT ARE THE BEST RIVALIES IN TN?

Before Bridgeport Al and Stevenson Al were merged to form North Jackson, South Pittsburg had some insane interstate rivalries with Bridgeport and Stevenson Alabama.

Only the residents of Bridgeport and SP can begin to understand.

 

Marion County had pretty good rivalry going with Stevenson and Bridgeport also.

Marion County played the huge North Jackson a few times following the merger and defeated them and the interstate rivalries died.

 

The only thing even close to that in south east TN is the Pirate-Warrior Clash. There used to be pregame parade before it was banned.

Marion- South Pittsburg is one of the top. The most consecutive played rivalry in the state. This year South Pitt killed Marion but it has had some great games in the past and next year should be a good game.
