The Tennessee Dreams finished this weekend at The Smokey Mountain Classic with a record of 3-1. Below is the results:

In the first game we lost a 14 point lead to a very good Tennessee Breakers team and fell 72-69. Leading the way was Brandon Burney with 17 followed by Anthony Rogers with 15.

In game two we beat a big Tennessee Thunder team 82-69. Anthony Rogers, Brandon Burney, Drake Reed, Ramon Williams, and Graylin Tuck all had double figures with Rogers leading the way with 16.

In game three we came out very flat against the Alcoa Ballers and held on 75-63. Brandon Burney led all scorers with 16 followed by Anthony Rogers with 14.

In the fourth and final game we defeated a physical Lynchburg Hoops team 89-65. Brandon Burney led all scorers with 24 followed by Anthony Rogers with 21.

Stats:

Brandon Burney 17.25 ppg

Anthony "Pete" Rogers 16.5

Ramon Williams 14.5

Drake Reed 8.7

Graylin Tuck 8.5

Other notes: I would like to make special recognition of Anthony Rogers. Some people didn't give us a chance when they found out Zech Teague couldn't make the trip, but "Pete" played great basketball all weekend and was key for us in every game. He was our MVP this weekend. Great job Pete!!! He deserves some recognition.

Also, I believe Brandon Burney showed he is certainly a force to be reckoned with. In my opinion he is the best guard in the midstate!!! He turned alot of heads this weekend.

Great job this weekend guys!!!

He didnt call to let anyone know he wasnt showing up either!!! That is why the Travelers had to play split squad games so teams would not miss their games...

TN Thunder Elite was not going to be able to make their 12:30 so he call to let them know so they could get someone to fill his spot...

Thats real Classy Bowers to come on the internet and post messages about not contacting you!!! Its not the coaches responsibility to contact you, you're the player..Thats probably the Clarksville Magic's Problem now they expect the coach to do it all and be the saviour. You have my house number and email address. I've called you several times on your mobile and no response.

Remember I was there... Charlie and Andy didnt know you were going to no show... How do I know this?? They ask me...

So dont get your panties in wad.. I am sure you had a good reason to no show...

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
