Oakland boys and girls teams are headed to Memphis. The girls swept McMinn Co. 4-0. The boys beat Ooltewah 4-2.

congrats on making state guys and girls. hopefully this years state tournament will be a much more memorable than it was last year. so give it your all and let them know how we do it in the boro.

ok tennis1, the competition may not have been that high a level, it might have been. i dont keep up with the exciting, physical sport known as tennis. i do know this though...oakland has a very good tennis team. their girls are probably better than the guys, but both are good. i wouldnt be surprised if the girls double team won state. just b/c you dont think they didnt play good competiton to make it to state, dont mean they havent beaten good people on their way
