JUST GOT BACK FROM THE BOYD HIXSON SCRIMAGE.BOYD DOMINATED EVERY ASPECT OF THE GAME. THE YOUNG GUYS REALLY STEPPED UP FOR THEM. GET READY FOR ANOTHER TRIP TO THE BURRO FROM THESE GUYS.

Well when a 1A school dominates a 4A school like that it don't matter who there missing. By the way Boyd was missing go to receiver/safety Ryan Headden and Defensive MVP for the state championship game Jeremy Davis, 6-3 300 pd lineman Ben Whitt, and starting tailback Matt Peardon. So you cannot blame people not being there on Hixson getting dominated.

You would brag if you were a 1A school withought some of your best players and you dominate a 4A school. You won't have to give us the trophy, if we win it this year we will earn it!

Carrying the trophy back from Murfreesboro this year is one job Boyd won't have. They won't even go except as spectators. In fact, they won't see the semi's.

I saw the scrimmage. I for one thought Boyd would miss a lot from losing some of the players it lost. However, they looked quick on defense. Now Drew Akins is no Will Healy. That is why they dont make it past the second round of playoffs. Yeh he can run the option but he has no arm strength. A couple of balls should have been picked off. One was so underthrown the DB slipped coming back to it. The boyd reciever caught it and ran it in. Furthermore, we will see how tough this kid is. Still no offensive line and he will take a beating. Lets see if he makes it out alive after the Baylor game.

 

All in all Boyd did look good but no trip to the borough!!

After all that was just a scrimmage. Drew may not even be the quarterback we don't even know yet. We were also missing alot of players. We did make alot of mistakes and that will all be worked out this summer trust me! But were gonna work as hard as we can to get back there!

If Drew is not quarterback then yall have brought someone else in. And as for dominating a 4a and being Boro bound. South Pittsburg just dominated a 5a does this mean we are Boro bound also?
