Boards are working now

Hopefully we have the problems of the last day behind us except for a little tweaking.

Am I the only one who is having problems getting on the boards and homepage? 10:00 PM, Tuesday night...

What a day. We apologize for the site outage. The problems of the past few days, that we thought was a software problem, was actually the server overheating and turning itself off and back on again. That was causing files to be corrupted which looked like a software compatibility problem.

 

Iamoz traveled to Knoxville today to check the server and discovered that a cooling fan for one on the processors had burned out causing the overheating. He has removed that processor for the time-being and we have a new, bigger case with extra fans on the way from New York to replace our existing case.

 

The fact that we were down today with the Spring Fling going on is probably more upsetting to us than it is to anyone. I apologize for the outage and we hope to remain up and running for the remainder of the week.
