Everything that happens in college appears to keep trickling down to high school.

The wing-T, veer, and/or triple option would give most college team fits. Creasy has proven that he can coach on a superior level. Can Creasy hire the right coaches and recruit? Give him the opportunity! MTSU should ask to talk to him.

Historically, the problem has been that the some of the "privates" have not maintained the existing rules. Clearly, the number one rule that keeps tripping up the "privates" is recruiting. Yes, it is not every "private," and there are plenty of "public" schools that bend and break rules as well. It would not matter what association the "privates" were in -- if private schools keeps bending and breaking the rules. Why don't the headmasters stop the nonsense of recruiting? Seriously, who wants recruiting in Tennessee high school sports? Please show me a tuba player than any high school in Tennessee has recruited! The insane desire to win has corrupted high school sports across the land, not just in Tennessee.

I forgot about the rule change. Thank you for the clarification. NFHS Football Rule 3-1-2 (Mercy Rule); Beginning in the second half, if the point differential is 30 points or more, a continuous clock will be used. The clock will only stop for charged time-outs, injuries, and scores. The try will always be an un-timed down. The clock shall start when the ball is kicked on the kickoff. If the point differential goes below 30 points, go back to regular timing rules

Isn't the major issue the timing of the firing, "the reliving of duties?" I have not read every post, but have reviewed most of them. I don't expect every issue to surface in an article or on a thread on Coach T. Unless there is another issue, an unstated reason for the coaching change at this point of the season that has not been revealed, who can say that this was a rational decision at this point in a high school football season? What is the Superintendent of Williamson County Schools' position on this change? Jason Golden must be willing to make a public statement about this unprecedented change. Has Golden made a public comment? Are all high school coaches in Williamson County able to be fired - relived of duties -- during a season simply because of a losing record? Is a 1-25 record now the metric for firing high school coaches in Williamson County? Was the head coach informed of what may happen before the season started? I would like to see the list of coaches who will apply for this position after this type of decision. Or has the decision already been made about who the next head coach will be?

Warren County is 1-6.

Good call on the Fair. It undoubtedly hurt the football attendance, but if Warren County had been undefeated, the home side would have been packed. I think the Green Wave has a good chance of winning out and going 8-2. How do you think Liberty will impact Gallatin over the next few years? Are you all open-zoned? Do kids have the freedom to drive to any school in the county they wish to attend?

Gallatin powered over Warren County with some good looking football players. What year is your big running back? To my eyes, you guys are closing to winning the region if you improve a couple of steps next year.
