I dont know what state you're living in Jason but those guys you named got shelled last year and Kyle Smith's curve ball is like someone throwing a beach ball up there. So I know Riverdale can hit the ball but they better rely on that not pitching.

How fast is Bryan Berry throwing? I play for Lawrence County and was impressed when he came in those last 5 innings, thought he was a better pitcher than Spence, that had to be a tough game for Tullahoma to lose. I can't wait for March 25th, Tullahoma against Lawrence County, if you see Berry on the mound for Tullahoma and either Ben Beckman or Tyler Copeland for Lawrence County it should be a great game featuring some of the best pitchers in district 8AAA.

TYLER FRANKLIN from hardin county, this kid has excellant control and throws cinsistently 83-85 and will top out around 87 or 88 and has a good change up and a great, quick breakin ball, look for franklin to maybe have a perfect record and gain all state status.

wtach out in the next couple years. there are three lefty's in blount county that are just dominating. they are all three 14. two are at alcoa and one is at heritage. the two at alcoa are both throwing in the mid 70's and one of them has the nastiest curve i've ever seen. the kid at heritage is throwing in the low 80's and has a big variety of pitches. you may think they are just young now but when they get juniors and seniors they will be unhittable!

when Bryan threw against you, that was last game he pitched before he got injured. His injury was major reason we did not do well in playoffs. Spence threw hard, Berry pitched hard.

This year - not sure yet. He seperated shoulder in football and is just recovered. 1st time no pain was couple of weeks ago. He is throwing well, but velocity is not there yet.

I hope he does get it back, he was throwing 84 (clocked by scouts at Worth tourney as freshman), but then junior year tore cartilage and then seperated shoulder. I look for him to be back at full strength and speed in about month , he just does not want to hurry it. His college plans are already made anyway.

I believe Lawrence County always has under rated pitching staff. Trust me tho, Tullahoma always knows they can pitch. How many seniors did u lose ? I was thinking maybe Columbia, lawrence cty, shelbyville, with battle for 4th between franklin and Tullahoma with edge to Franklin county as they always play clean ball with few errors. They can get by with weaker pitching as they play good defense and can always hit........If tullahoma can cut down on errors, they will make midseason run.....

i hate to tell you all this, but Choe "maddawg" Hensley will be one of the best, if not the best pitcher in single a. He has 4 great pitches and all 4 of them are equally hard to hit. People dont realize the sheer amazing force behind his fastball until you put yourself behind the plate to catch it. and when you step in the batters box and see the ball coming right at you, its quite scary, i myself had to jump out of the box only to see the ball take a nasty curve right over the plate. If Choe stays healthy, heaven help single a batters.

alcoa06, when are you going to wake up from this dreamland you live in? 80's for a 14 year old?!?! i dont know about anybody else but that's VERY hard to swallow. the best pitcher in east tennessee is Shay Horseman from Anderson County. Going to MTSU to continue his pithing career. Hard throwing lefty who isnt scared of any hitter. had the privledge of playing w/shay for many years before he moved.
