Class 1A: Region 2 Favorites

correction, if you voted for anybody except greenback, you're wrong. this may be one of the weakest regions in TN HS Football.

while you may say this is one of the weakest regions, with that comes one of the most competitive regions as well. with the exception of TSD, Sunbright, Oakdale, any of these teams could take the region champion title and that makes for watching these teams pretty darn fun.

Basically, Greenback is going to leave everyone in their wake. Not one of the other 3 contenders(CAK, Coalfield, Oneida) has any legitimate chance of winning this region. As for Midway, Oakdale, TSD, and Sunbright...good luck to you.

all this hype that were getting really isnt that justified, we looked terrible during spring practice and we arent really going to be as good this year as people say. im the first person to want to say that we are gonna destroy everyone in our region but people like CAK and Coalfield do have legitimate chances for beating us.

Its going to be interesting to watch, Greenback, Coalfield, Midway, and CAK are going to battle this thing out. I can't really make a prediction because this is going to be a tight race for region championship.

i may be biased, but to put midway instead of oneida is wrong, they were the only team in this region to play greenback close(in the playoffs) and they didnt suffer major losses, so dont doubt them to give greenback a fight

pennyplay, from what ive heard your oneida boys got manhandled against york. now i dont know if thats true or not but its what ive heard.

the score would look that way. the indians had some very good drive put together, but would always screw up in the end zone(two or three interceptions). then the defensive line and linebackers slacked off on plays the york running back took advantage and got big yards off two runs, scoring both times. york did not manhandle the indians at all

i'm not exactly sure, i think it was 4-2(touchdowns) with oneida scoring late in the game...can't exactly remember tho
