AGGSL
Don't forget that the Baylor 1973 team won the state and mythical national championship. Interesting that the team had many retuning starters from the 1972 team which lost in the state finals to Tennessee High. As previously mentioned, the QB on the 1972 Tennessee High team was current Baylor coach David Bibee.
STARSNBARS
Rebelron you are correct. After the loss to Mo-Town West in 2001, Maryville's offense grew better every week. In the playoffs that year they scored 52 on Cleveland, 36 on Red Bank, 61 on Rhea. Co. 23 on Mo-Town West in a quagmire, and 34 on Hillsboro. Go Rebs. hobbit87
Now people don't get me wrong, I'm not a McMinn County fan AT ALL, but I think they execute their offense very well. Although I'm not sure how they'll do with their new coach.
FALCON4
Riverdale 94', That was one of the most explosive offenses I have ever seen. Kenny McGowen,Fernando Bryant, Marcus Smith, Gerald Griffen, etc they were loaded. 1991 had several good ones as well. Oak Ridge with Shawn Summers, Knox. Central with Todd Helton and Stratford with their 3 1000yrd running backs. LINCOLN COUNTY DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR DON THOMAS WITH LINBACKERS CHAD HENDERSON AND BYRON CARTER SHUT DOWN THE RIVERDALE OFFENSE IN 1994..
