I see them finishing either second or third in the region depending on how quickly Boyd Buchanan can replace Healy & Nelson!

Whitwell will be a very tough game for anyone on the schedule this year. Griffith boy at QB runs the offense well. Doesn't try to do to much. The FB (Pellam I think) is just as tough as the Austin boy a couple of years ago. Another Austin is at wing and is a terrific blocker. On the O-Line you have to start with the Tidwell boy, all 6-5 280 pounds of him. Has great feet for his size. Word is several big schools have been calling the Whitwell fieldhouse about this young man.

 

Coach Green has done a tremendous job molding these boys into a good team. Time will tell if they are just good or could be one of the best Whitwell has ever had.

I think Whitwell will go about like last year 6-4 or 5-5.

 

I don't see them beating Marion Co., Sequatchie Co. or Grundy Co. in no-region games this year. They how ever could be 3-0 heading into the Boyd-Buchanan game!

7-3 they will get marion maybe even the indians but they still can't handle boyd and sp. However iam partial i played at whitwell and my brother plays at boyd. Another thing they have going for them is Wes Green and believe me he is one of the best.
