how will cumberland gap do in 2a this season also I have heard the have a very good qb. Does anyone have any information about them.

I know there has been alot of talk of the "Powell Valley / Forge Ridge Combination" and the newly Cumberland Gap formed & now joining 2A, but people shouldn't count them out.

 

Cumberland Gap does have a very good Senior QB, Corey Russell. Along with him, they have some very tough & talented Senior's returning period, Caleb Medley, Chris Inman, Tyler Francisco..........just to name a few.

 

 

This is a very talented bunch of young men and I expect them to shake things up in 2A, more than what anyone is giving them credit for !

You hit the nail on the head with Russell. He is a very, very good QB and does have some talent around him. I have spoken with some people who were able to Russell when he was at MTSU's camp and all were impressed. The area of concern for Cumberland Gap is their depth, they are not deep at any position on the field.
