I think that soddy was very strong this year and we were very well matched up.

Redbank just wanted to show ppl that we are stronger and have come together since we lost our coach. We have got something to show for all our hard work later in our season! But,soddy is the game that Redbank has been waiting for this whole week and it feels good to come out on top knowning what things we had to go through to get here!

GO LADY LIONS!! B)

Red Bank played CCS later in the season when they had gotten together as a team. Ooltewah played CCS early on in the season when they were still learning to play as a team. Now that Ooltewah is putting stuff together, I think Red Bank should be prepared for a tough game and a loss. Ooltewah will be the district champions. Besides, don't base a team off of one game that they played. Congrats for beating CCS, but that doesn't mean a thing when you play Ooltewah.

Ooltewahs game they played with ccs was in the paper about a week before ours so i can u say it was a later time in the season?I dont see why u think its in the bag for ya'll?When we played yall we had 4 ppl hurt recovering from the night before with soddy and we had our jv players filling in.And u only scored one goal all by ya'lls self!

go to soccerinfo.com and see when oolttewahs game with CCS was played... second game of the season... oh yeah and did i mention that carrico is back now... not to mention your talking about all these results that happened(i.e. soddy/ooltewah, and CCS/Ooltewah) but forgetting to mention the 3-0 win Ooltewah recorded at your field this season?! Also from what has been said it seems CCS completely out played yall but just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net... no ones disrespecting your team here but you need to look at things in perspective... should be a good game

In no way was I saying that we had it "in the bag".. I feel that if the Owls have their game tomorrow nite, you will be in serious trouble. They have the skill and the desire.. and home field advantage. What does the score of the previous game between OHS and RB matter? You just proved that your team is terrible and cannot find the goal you are supposed to be scoring on.. You would have thought that after the first goal you scored on your own team that you should aim for the other goal. Instead, you went for your own goal, AGAIN.. I can see that RB's team is full of smart girls!

I was at the 3-0 ooltewah victory over Rbank this year...and i have to thank the redbank defenders for their asistance in the win...but the owls cant expect that this time, and i dont think they will need it. Redbank's sweeper likes to be physical, and the owls forwards dont respond well to that (IE they foul right bank and get whistled on it) thats one thing that Watson and Creech need to be aware of right off...keep your cool no matter what attitude that girl gives you; like last time. I think now that Carrico is back, it will lift her teammate's spirits, and lead them to a hard fought win....2-1.

m glad to know that yall think this will be a good game as well.. .im sure the lady owls will come out and play a solid game... and actually play some real soccer instead of boom ball... they did a nyse job against central of working it down the flanks in the first half but they desperately need to get more people in the box to finish those crosses...hullender watson and creech are good but they can't cross and finish the ball without the help of others....

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
