Dishman is now coach Miller, and she is very animated on the sidelines. :lol: I've seen her coach AAU. :lol: Pam is married to the new Warren Co. boys coach. :blink:

Jason Taylor

Jason Taylor, a native of Clarkrange, Tenn., was named assistant men’s basketball coach at Anderson College and head junior varsity coach in May 2003.

 

Taylor joins the AC staff after two seasons at Roane State Community College.

 

Taylor earned a B.S. degree in physical education and health from Jacksonville State University in Alabama in 2001.

 

He started his playing career at Aquinas College in Nashville, Tenn., where he averaged 10 points per game during the 1996-97 season.

 

From Aquinas, Taylor transferred to Roane State where he redshirted in 1997-98 before playing the 1998-99 season.

 

As a redshirt sophomore at Roane State, he averaged 17 points per game. He was named the MVP of the Pensacola Junior College Thanksgiving Classic, and he led the TJCAA in 3-point shooting percentage.

 

Taylor earned an associates degree from Roane State before moving to Jacksonville State. His highlight at Jacksonville State was 20 points (7 for 7 from behind the arc) against Alabama A&M.

 

At AC, he will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the men’s program and directing the growing JV program.

Mike Buck

 

Buck is currently the head coach of the Cumberland County boy's basketball team. He has also coached at Pickett County High School, White County High School and the University of Idaho, compiling an overall career coaching record of 226-117. His coaching resume' includes two state championships and three state tourney appearances. He has coached a team that was ranked in the Top Ten in the nation and has helped develop several college players.

 

 

Buck played high school basketball for Roy Whited at Clarkrange from 1984-88, where he scored over 2,100 career points. His teams won 105 games and made two state tournament appearances. He continued his playing career at MTSU and led them to an OVC championship. Buck was a perfect six for six for the highest three point percentage in an NCAA Tournament game.
