REBELRON
It is arguable who has the best traditions. Here are some of the best. Brentwood Academy. More state titles than anybody since the playoff system started. Maryville. Only Brentwood Academy has more titles.Best 4A program in Tennessee Oak Ridge. They have a bunch of state titles. They are in a state title drought now. Trousdale County. They are like Maryville,Great in the 70s,Pretty good in the 80s,Dominated the late 90s.Had a few lean years and now they are hard to beat. Loudon. Used to strike fear in every team in the state. Kingston. Same as Loudon Cleveland. Always have great athletes. Awesome run in mid 90s. Alcoa. Always have speed. 5 state titles. MBA. Has replaced Brentwood Academy as the premier private school program. Riverdale. Dominated 5A football since 1990. Dobyns Bennett. Won more games than any team in Tennessee. Marion County. Dominated the 90s Austin East. Dominated during the Leroy Thompson years in the mid 80s. They are one of the best 3A programs in Tennessee. Gallatin. Used to strike fear in every team in Tennessee. Germantown. Always a top Program in the Memphis area. I know I am missing a few.
WesVLT
Are you Super 7 guys just too young to remember how good Father Ryan was? What about Gallatin? Gordonsville? Why does a team have to win a state championship to have 'tradition'? That's silliness. Marshall County has tradition. Mt. Juliet has tradition. Collinwood has tradition. Smith County. Harpeth. Don't be so short-sighted. Short-sighted? Pardon me for not naming every team in Tennessee who's had a few good seasons...I was just making a quick list of some notable squads during my high school football life, which has not been more than a decade long. Still, I am an avid fan of TSSAA Football history and would love to learn about more great teams with tradition. BDD, that's a good idea...I might consider it! 12yr.oldchamps
From 1969 - 1999 Milan had a record of 286-79 with four state titles, one runner-up, numerous semi-finals. A lot of tradition here.

12yr.oldchamps
That is good coaching. Prevents needless injuries for your starters, gives valueable experience to the younger guys and just shows class.
