Cocke Co. High School Football

Could someone tell me how the Cocke Co. High School football is doing. Also, tell me a little about the season and what the future looks like for the fighting cocks.

The Big Red had a down year this past season. They are currently 2-7 overall, 1-4 in the conference, and will not be in the playoffs. They shut out South Greene in the ir first game but then lost 6 straight before beating David Crockett 3 weeks ago. Their last game is at Volunteer.

 

In all fairness, Cocke County probably had one of the more tougher schedules this year (e.g.; Seymour, Morristown West and East, Jefferson County, and Greeneville). If they had been able to win over Cherokee last week and then win their upcoming game against Volunteer, they probably would have gone to the playoffs.

 

As for their future, someone closer to the program than I am will need to answer that.
