Dyersburg VS Hardin County?

The field goal was missed because Dyersburg partially blocked it and then hit the kicker and the ball went completely off the field.Which i'm pretty sure of is not a foul. Not making any excuses Hardin Co. played hard all game and espically in the 4th quarter. Hardin Co. has a pretty good QB and WR's.

We blocked the kick.It was not a penalty.The refs mad e a bad call. If you block a kick the play is dead ,We ran into the kicker after we blocked it that was the problem/

The call was legit in the fact that the kicker was hit, however the kick was blocked. The explanation given to Coach Counce was that the player blocked the kick but still roughed the kicker. The delay was over the fact that you can't have a roughing the kicker call on a blocked kick, but none of the officals waved the flag off and the 2nd kick was good. It was a great game although D-burg's defense brokedown. good luck to them in the playoffs
