I don't think their having a bad year. They have three loses one to probaly the best team in 5A Germantown, one to Milan, they could have easily won that game. It came down to the last seconds. And one lost to Obion County. In the Obion game they came out flat and Obion County held on late. I'm looking foward to seeing Covington run into them in the playoffs. There is a 3-way tie for Region 7 3-A between Covington, Ripley, & Obion County. Ripley gets the number 1 seed in the playoffs because of their better record over weeker oponents. To me it isn't fair for Obion and Covington because they played a stronger schedule. Anyone have any thoughts on how they feel tiebreakers should be determined? Good Luck Covington in the playoffs. Show everyone just how rough things can really get.

Obion Central did not hold on to win the Covington game.They never trailed in the game.They led 7-0 at halftime and 14-0 in the fourth quarter before Covington scored late.Covington did make the mistake in assuming they didn't have to bring their A game to beat OC.If they meet in the playoffs,we'll see who the better team is.But on that night it was OC.

      Looks like everybody's favorite dad is on the move again. Mount Juliet, BA, LIpscomb, Ensworth and now some lucky(?) school in Carolina as the "preacher" has taken a job with the Carolina Panthers. His snow continues to fall.

      Before this gets out of hand like last time .. seriously guys who is top candidates??? Do they go outside the box or hire from with in??

      I’ve known a few players who went through TKA, and the only problem is the line, like athletes up there are easy to come by. There’s been great athletes came through TKA. It’s just they can never find a line and the ones they do aren’t that good.

      Pretty sure it’s the school he is zoned for, but TKA wasn’t sure if they were going to have a football team this upcoming season, like a months ago. A lot of the good players hit the hay, mainly to GP, but a few went to Concord, which is a school in Knoxville, making a lot of questionable promises, and the rest just went back home to places like Clinton, South Doyle, Seymour, etc.
