A team that is 4-6 can't participate in a BOWL GAME! TSSAA rules clearly state that you must be 5-5 to play in a bowl game. ???
And nothing is really fair anyway Cosby a 1-9 team gets into the playoffs so why cant a team that is 6-4 play 1 last game, even if it is a bowl game.

I understand... I'm just saying this is what the rules state! Also, you must have all bowl games cleared with the TSSAA!

coach100
When will Upperman bowl be played?
bigwes68
While a team must have 5 wins in order to be eligible for a "bowl game," the TSSAA handbook also says this: H. Schools that do not qualify for the play-offs may schedule an additional game, bringing the total number of games to 11. No member school shall schedule a game that conflicts with the play-off games. So apparently, an 0-10 team could play an extra game, they just couldn't call it a "bowl"?
