Oneida & Anderson Co. scrimmage

I meant Wallace. I had Wes Smith as a coach in middle school and my brother had Wallace in middle school. Chill, I played in that game and we beat AC's freshmen, not JV(another one my bads), pretty handily and lost to Loudon's JV.

How did this scrimmage go?

As usual, AC played hard and with tough defense. They are a very well coached team. Oneida played good at times, but Jared Laverdiere's 6 3's (5 in a row) just lit the Indians up. I thought both teams come out improved, but still with alot to work on...naturally it's only a preseason scrimmage. So, it did it's job...exploit weakness and areas needed for improvement, and allow some positives to reinforce. Good job both teams!!!

Was the score kept or can you tell me which team would have won if you had?

It would have been a close game. Neither team would have been upby 5-8 points either way. Both teams had runs, and could have put up more points, but the coaches stopped the game to instruct. All in all, it was a good contest for both teams.

That's what one of my buds just told me. Sounds like a good game, I'm pretty sure AC is missing some football players as Oneida is, overlapping seasons geez haha.

It was a good scrimmage! Both teams had there weaknesses. Like for oneida, whenever they had their big guy, Newell Armstrong, sitting down, they had a person playing the five spot that was used to bringing the ball down the court. But Anderson Co. couldn't get their foul court press working that well, and that allowed oneida to score alot of their points that way. But neither team didn't play up to their standard.
