I go to alcoa and i know they are considered pushovers, but this year may be different. We have lost our three best seniors but gained a coach that taught matt casper and 2 state champions at karns. We may have what it takes to contend this year (in the county). What do you think

Alcoa could make some waves in Blount county this year but I still believe that Maryville is the team to beat, If your going to beat them you better do it early while half of their team is still playing football, but hopefully alcoa will give them a run for their money

Alcoa has a long ways to go. They have no state qualifiers, they don't go to any tournaments,and don't show up for any dual meets.. Their team needs to come to the realization that in order to bee tough you have to get your head kicked in by tougher kids.

No, i dont think that they are going to have a great year, the kids just isn't tough ...........

I never said we would have a great year, i said we would be better, and we are tough, the last few years we have lacked the coaching but we have done good with what we have, regardless of team scores, because we give up 24 points a amtch in forfeits sometimes. I asked for opinions and to see what others thought, i am not doing it to brag like the greenback team does.

I apologize for anything that anyone from greenback has said to offend you. This login name is on almost every computer in the school and anyone can use it. I think alcoa is doing much better. I look at them and I see a good group of kids. Please forgive anyone from greenback for trying to brag. We have nothing to brag about yet. Just remember it could be someone who doesnt even wrestle saying that stuff.

I understand, no hard feelings, and after farragut you have respect and can brag a little. I guess you all have shared computers, its no problem, can't blame you for what you can't control.
