hshoops
I've read on here that some people have Catholic being very good this year and some saying the opposite. Just how are they going to look and what types of players do they have?
Chattcity
I know they were tough last year and did not lose much. Tony Fox, when he is on, is a great shooter
AusDan
The game with Farragut has been canceled because of the championship game. The game was scehduled for Saturday, but I don't believe it will be made up. First game is against Harriman on Friday. Then the next is the following Monday versus Sullivan Central. The Irish are looking very, very strong. Not to mention they haven't had two all region players with them in about two months.
chill
Catholic was very impressive in scrimmages against Cumberland County(AAA) and Anderson County(AA) recently. They are aggressive on offense and defense, and they have nice chemistry. It will be interesting to see how the addition of Fox will work on an unselfish team. He's going to get his shots. Sheridan will help inside once he finshes football. They are a very young team and should be good for the next few years at least. Coach Hutch and Ralph Parton have built one of the finer programs in Knoxville. This year I would say that only Bearden, AE, and Fulton will be better in Knox, and that's a huge step up for Catholic basketball....... imachangedman3
Catholic is going to be good enough said about that. We all know what they did at the jamboree without T.Fox or Dan Sheridan. So we will see Friday, Im not sure if Tony will be back then but even without him Catholic should come away with the victory in the season opener. Catholic has a chance this year to take it all the way and they have the brains to do it. Coach Hutchins, and now newley acquired Coach Scott. They have some good leadership about them. Those two coaches know what to do in every type of situation and will prove themselves and there team time and time again this season.
