THE FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL LADY REBELS LOST TO HILSBORO TONIGHT 29-49. FRANKLIN CAME INTO THE GAME WITH A 6-0 RECORD, BUT YOU WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN IT BY THE WAY THEY WERE PLAYING. OVERALL, THEY DIDN'T PLAY LIKE THE SAME TEAM THEY'VE BEEN THE REST OF THE SEASON. NO SHOTS WERE FALLING FOR THEM AND ALTOGETHER, THE WHOLE TEAM HAD AN OFF NIGHT. I HOPE TO SEE A BETTER PERFORMANCE BY THE REBELS NEXT WEEK WHEN THEY PLAY HILLWOOD NEXT FRIDAY. AT HALFTIME, FRANKLIN BOYS WERE UP 24-30. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE FINAL RESULTS.

The game was ugly from the outset. Franklin was down 20-2 at the start.

Final score was actually a 14 point difference not 20 as reported above. Lady Rebels made some points at the end when Hillsboro subs were mopping up.

Looked like the FHS girls were very flat at the start and very confused at how their zone was supposed to work. Looks like they need a little more practice on it. Hillsboro was much bigger and could match Franklins quickness out front.

They should learn from this. Should be a good opportunity for the Franklin coach to coach them up and make them a better team later in the season.

      Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..

      They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.

      I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.

      and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
