FYI: I just e-mailed Coach Logsdon and Coach Jackson. I don't know how often they are able to check their e-mail or if they will bother checking it at all on Friday, so if anyone sees them/talks to them Friday (Dec. 19), please pass this along.

I don't know if they have plans to put the brackets online or not. I am willing and have offered to do so through our site Alabama Wrestling since we have guys coming up there. I can put the brackets up before the tournament, so everyone can see what they look like (although there may be last minute changes at weigh-ins and with the rampant flu). I can also update them after Friday night if they can get me the results from those rounds. HOWEVER, I will be at Hartselle for their duals tournament (I think Bartlett from Memphis is coming) on Saturday, so I won't be able to update it through the day. When I get home, I will update it with full results if they can provide those. At the very least, they can simply wait until it's all said and done and just send me the team results and place finishers (without match details) if they like. I see where CoachT will be down for maintenance/server change, so this offer may come in handy for you wrestling-results junkies. :D

Again, if you see them or talk to them --- tell them to check their e-mail and get back with me on it.

Just a curious question for Bradley fans or even Coach Logsdon himself, Has Bradley ever thought about moving their Invitational and entering the McCallie Invitational? This tournament in my opinion is 10 times harder to win than our respective D 1 and D 2 state championships. Bradley entering the tournament would send it over the top and possibly the top one or two tournaments in the Southeast. If not enter the invitational try to get McCallie to move the tourney and invite all of those teams to the Bradley Invitational, just wondering why two big tournaments are on the same weekend??

Bradley does not want to wrestle D2 teams, for whatever reason that may be. My guess is that by having both tourneys on the same week, Bradley can avoid any conflicts and not have to worry about people bugging them to go to McCallie. I am not saying Bradley is afraid or anything because I believe they are the best team in the state of Tennessee, just that Coach Logdson have a reason for not wrestling some DII teams in Chattanooga, and because he does not want to all we can do is respect that. The idea of Bradley going to McCallie is not fresh, and the idea of combining the 2 tourneys, although it would provide for an outstanding tourney, is very far-fetched.

Thanks Dragonwrestler for clearing that up. I respect the fact they dont want to wrestle D 2 schools and I wasnt try to cause a controversy, because it is not needed. I assumsed that Bradley didn't want to wrestle the good D 2 schools in a dual match, but didnt realize there is that much of a problem to enter into a top notch tournament. I was just excited about the thought of seeing Bradley participate at Mccallie just for the sheer fact the state of Tennessee would have even more to brag about this tournament and in reality would appeal to many more teams not just in the Southeast, but maybe some Northeast schools. Either way there will be a lot of exciting wrestling in the Chattanooga area this weekend!
